The 3rd link
So I'm currently building my third link (upper). The intention was to make it as close to the lower link length as possible so that the pinion will maintain the set angle throughout it's range of motion. Obviously, to allow this to happen I've negated the top link mount on the chassis and replaced it with a hollow section crossbar which I will weld the mounts to.
Also to cut out alot of the guesswork from angle finding and notching the pipe, I've created a jig, to which I can kind of fit and weld everything by eye. Here's some pics of it on the welding table I made.

Supplemental
Here are few more shots of the working product. (I try to avoid excess smoke)
I've been promising to take some pics of my most recent project which happens to be the top triangular link for the rear suspension, but It's been hectic to be honest. We'll see how it pans out next weekend.
