Result!!

So, It's been a long hard slog to get to this point. Recently I haven't been able to document as much as I would like because it's a bit difficult to work and take pictures at the same time, but I've entered a competition and stuck it through to finish second overall in my class.

I'll be honest and say there was no chance in hell to catch the first guy and I can't say that coming second had more to do with skill than luck because the margin of victory was only one point, and if his vehicle didn't have a minor mechanical hiccup I would've had my ass handed to me on a plate.

Haven't had much time to post anything recently, but here's the latest development chez moi.

I've been putting some overtime in on the ol' welder to get my latest creation up and running so needless to say I'm well fucking chuffed with how they turned out

It's been a long time

Holy shit. Work's been killing me so now I've got loads to catch up on. Major developments made include

• 5 x 1 1/4" teraflex & QA1 joints 
• Custom fabbed longarm links
• 40" LED lightbar

Deliberations

Haven't been doing much work on the defender recently. Financial constraints are killing me. That and the rear suspension is midway into a bit of a transformation right now.

I'm also seriously contemplating doing away with the TD5. I love it, but the truth is in order to get the power I'm looking for, it will be way too expensive and probably push it well past the boundaries of reliability.

Sometimes I feel like my landrover can sniff out paydays like a bloodhound. Just 3 days before payday and the old tires decide they've had enough.

Posts have been light because not much else new here, really, just trying to get my new MIG welder up and running.
