The victim, the assailant and the unassuming accomplice
In this adaptation of true events, the main protagonist/victim will be played by TD5 radiator, the antagonist/assailant will be played by wooden branch and the accomplice will be played by viscous fan.
:C
I'll provide a translation from bajan dialect for those not so fortunate to understand at a later date, once my bad mood wears off
Radiator (to fan): my man, this is nuff rasshole water on the road yuh.
Fan (to Radiator): Bossman, this man like he feel we pun a fackin' boat, but he ain't know that I ain't really bout dah. Ya can't really trust that man name water, he does be all 'bout in everybody pockets.
Radiator (to Fan): Fuh real I, I ain't know why he can't guh back to the sky or sea where he come from..*stupes* plus ya does can't really trust de people he does be hangin out wid. Mekkin my life miserable
-Enter wood-
Wood: YEH MEN!, wha wunnah sayin now?
*Fan & Radiator roll eyes*
Fan: we ain't really sayin nuttin man, just hey breezin. But, I was now gine leff to go and shout my muddah though......
Wood: man don't leff yet, I did want ask you sain...
Fan: *mutters under his breath* Gawblimma, wha he want now?
Fan: *audibly* wha um is?
-wood eases closer to fan-
Fan: Whappen my man?, you aint gotta be suh rasshole close up under me, AAAAIIIIII!!!! MURDAH!! Muh blades!!You gine brek off muh blades!!
-*BRUGGADUNG*-
Radiator: FAN!! FAN!! you alrite? oh muddah cunt! Police!! murdah aye!!
-*Bruggadung again*-the scene closes with radiator brutally assulted and left for dead, with his green lifeblood slowly seeping from his cores, Fan too, has seen better days. His blades are not broken completely, but, bear the grisly marks of a vicious attack by that criminal wood. All of this carnage could have been avoided had their owner only replaced the cowling like he was supposed to.

When you're down and out........
F*ck.
I should've left the Landy alone last weekend. It's been sitting there since last sunday with a flat tire which I assume is from the garbage I had to drive over to finally get myself home. I've also avoided starting it as the water in fuel light came on briefly on my way home and I'm sure it needs to be drained.
I finally got around to removing the tire for repair and decided to clean the water out of my headlights, and I thought it would be a good idea to use pure alcohol. Not a good idea. I need to look for two new light housings now, I've also discovered that there's a leak somewhere either in my radiator or in the hoses, but I couldn't be arsed to look properly after I fucked the lights up royally lest I damage anything else.
So for the moment it's just sitting there, looking a bit sad and blind until I can get it rolling again.

I dub thee .......... the Sieve!!
Well, I was going to call it "Sandy II" in homage to my old 300tdi but after I took it for a drive in that rain last night, the sieve seems much more fitting.

New stuff!! it's like xmas in september

Got my new intercooler last week, it's a fancy Serck Services unit that I sourced over from the good old folks at www.TD5alive.com . It's the coarse fin type for primarily for offroad driving and I was slightly disappointed that there was no serck logo on the front like in the stock photo, but I was soon over that after the install.
I wasn't really expecting any difference in performance by installing it, but it has made a difference, albeit small, especially the lower rpm range, thereby making those dicey side road exits less likely.

I've got some other stuff with it as well, but I'll go into those details in a later post ;)
